Little Noise Sessions

The Little Noise Sessions are a series of annual concerts held at Union Chapel in London, England, presented by Mencap, a UK charity supporting people with learning disabilities.

After first supporting Noel Gallagher at the Little Noise Sessions in 2006, where they covered The Beatles' I'm So Tired, Kasabian returned to Union Chapel on 14 November 2008 to play their own gig, supported by The Hours and introduced by The Edge of U2.[1]

During the entirely acoustic performance Kasabian debuted Black Whistler and new song Thick As Thieves, and played covers of The Velvet Underground's Who Loves The Sun, Del Shannon's Runaway and The Beatles' Why Don't We Do It In The Road? as well as a rare acoustic version of I.D..

Parts of the performance were later released on the deluxe edition of West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum. Runaway was released as a b-side on the Fire single and as a bonus track on the Japanese editions of West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum.
