NYE Re:Wired is the name given to Kasabian's New Year's Eve concert on 31 December 2011 at the O2 in London, England.
After the gig was first announced in early November, O2 released an ad on 9 December 2011, showing the members of Kasabian coming to people's houses, revealing that the gig would be streamed live worldwide via YouTube. "It's been a hell of a year for us," the band was quoted in the announcement, "and we can't think of a better way to celebrate New Year's Eve than with our fans, friends and family by our side."
Following a DJ set by Zane Lowe and support act Chase & Status, Kasabian's main set started at 11:30pm GMT and included a countdown to the new year, timed to follow I Hear Voices, presumably as a play on the lyric "one minute to midnight". Despite having a clock by the side of the stage the band restarted the new year's countdown, stating it was wrong and they would have to wait for Big Ben.
The gig was nominated for Greatest Music Moment of the Year at the NME Awards 2012.
